Three Ring

Blendspace allows your instruction to be given outside of the classroom. You can quickly and easily create an online lesson with Blendspace. Students will view your notes, images, videos, and quizzes in the order you created them. This is a great tool, and will extend your ability to enrich or remediate each student in your classroom. 

Explain Everything is a very powerful teaching app, which allows you to capture your instruction through video. These videos can then be shared with your students for their use inside and outside the classroom. 

Socrative is an online tool which works on any device for formative and summative assessments.  

Kahoot is a game based learning assessment tool, which works on any device. This will engage and motivate student learning while allowing them to have fun. 

Symbaloo is an online service that manages and shares your website links and hyperlinks. This is an easy and efficient way for your students to navigate the many websites you want them to visit. 

Padlet is a program that allows students to ask questions during instruction. It encourages peer collaboration by allowing the students to discuss with each other as well. Students and teachers can create a wall at the same time, and collaboratively create a presentation.  

Google offers many services that benefit the teacher and their students. The teacher can use the Google Forms as an assessment tool, which will work on any device.  Students can work collaboratively and use the Google Drive as a free cloud storage service. 

PowToon is an online service that allows the teacher or student to create animated presentations. This is a creative and fun way to present or review material.

Nearpod is an App and PC based service and it allows a teacher to control the content that is displayed on the student devices. You can easily send interactive questions and polls to the students and receive instant feedback. 

InfuseLearning is a more versatile and friendlier version of Nearpod. This program allows a teacher to push polls, questions, and formative assessment tasks to students on any device. This is a great way to utilize the Bring Your Own Technology policy in your classroom. 

Noredink.com is a great ELA assessment tool. The students complete performance based assessment questions and the teacher has the ability to give each student a different grammar topic or lesson to complete.

Three Ring is an App and PC based service. It allows you to create an electronic portfolio for every student quickly and easily. The teacher can take a photo of the student work and send it directly to the student account on Three Ring.

Linoit.com

Lionit.com is an interactive wall, which allows the teacher and student to post sticky notes, pictures, and videos. The teacher can easily sort the sticky notes or have students sort the notes as an assessment. 

YouTube

YouTube is a great website for storing and hosting your educational videos for your students. Youtube will allow you to easily embed your videos on a website, Google Forms, or other media providers. This is a great resourse for flipping your classroom.

Zaption

Zaption will allow you to add questions to your instrustional videos and track student participation too. This will be a great feature to use for a flipped classroom environment. 

Screencasting

Screencasting will allow you to capture your lessons for pre-teaching, flipped classrooms, station based learning with mini-lessons, acceleration, remediation, and extending the learning outside of your classroom. I hope you enjoy the tutorials and I will continue to add more soon.
